KA ANGLER WARRANTY POLICY - AUSTRALIA

KA ANGLER products are built for Australian offshore and saltwater fishing environments. We are committed to providing reliable, professional, and practical after-sales support for our customers.

Important: This limited warranty applies to eligible KA ANGLER products purchased in Australia by the original retail purchaser for personal, recreational fishing use only.

1. Warranty Coverage

This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable. Warranty periods begin from the original date of purchase.

Fishing Rods and Reels

KA ANGLER fishing rods and reels are covered by a 3-year limited warranty from the original date of purchase.

This warranty applies to manufacturing defects, structural material faults, non-user-caused breakage, functional failures under normal intended fishing use, and abnormalities in guides or structural components.

This warranty does not cover misuse, excessive force, accidental impact or dropping, saltwater corrosion caused by improper maintenance, normal wear and tear, improper storage, unauthorised modifications or repairs, or damage caused by neglect, abuse, or use outside the product's intended purpose.

To maximise product lifespan, we strongly recommend rinsing all products with fresh water and storing them dry after each saltwater fishing session.

Fishing Line

KA ANGLER fishing line is covered by a 1-year limited warranty from the original date of purchase.

This warranty applies only to verified product quality issues. Returns or exchanges are not accepted for fishing line where the issue is not related to product quality, including but not limited to normal wear, incorrect use, cutting, abrasion, improper storage, or damage caused during fishing.

Tools and Accessories

KA ANGLER tools and accessories are covered by a 1-year limited warranty from the original date of purchase.

If a verified manufacturing defect or product quality issue occurs within the warranty period, eligible tools and accessories will be handled by replacement only, not repair. The original product must be returned to KA ANGLER for inspection and assessment before a replacement is issued.

Normal wear, oxidation, consumable usage, user-caused damage, misuse, or unauthorised modification are not covered under warranty.

2. What Is Not Covered

This limited warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear.
  • Misuse, abuse, neglect, excessive force, or improper use.
  • Accidental impact, dropping, cutting, abrasion, or damage caused during fishing.
  • Saltwater corrosion or deterioration caused by improper cleaning, drying, maintenance, or storage.
  • Damage resulting from unauthorised modification, alteration, or repair.
  • Damage caused by use outside the product's intended recreational fishing purpose.
  • Damage occurring during freight or transport arranged by the consumer.
  • Products used commercially or for charter, rental, industrial, or non-recreational purposes.

Products exhibiting damage of this nature are not covered under this limited warranty and may be returned at the consumer's expense, except where otherwise required by law.

3. Crash Replacement Support

For products damaged outside normal warranty coverage, KA ANGLER may offer discounted replacement support on a case-by-case basis.

This support is offered at KA ANGLER's discretion and is intended to support long-term offshore fishing experiences and provide practical solutions for our community. Availability, eligibility, discount level, and replacement options may vary depending on product type, stock availability, damage condition, and assessment outcome.

Once the product has been assessed and an approved warranty claim is confirmed, KA ANGLER will cover the cost of return shipping for the repaired or replacement item back to you, except where otherwise required by law or agreed in writing.

5. Warranty Outcomes

KA ANGLER reserves the right to determine warranty eligibility after inspection and assessment.

For approved warranty claims, KA ANGLER may, at its discretion and subject to product category:

  • Repair or replace eligible fishing rods and reels.
  • Replace eligible fishing line where a verified product quality issue is confirmed.
  • Replace eligible tools and accessories where a verified manufacturing defect or product quality issue is confirmed.
