OVERVIEW

Full-Size Performance in a Travel-Ready 4-Piece Rod

One-Piece Feel, Four-Piece Freedom

T800 / T700 Carbon

Carbon Fiber Matrix

Legend is built on a carefully tuned multi-modulus carbon blank structure, combining Toray T800 carbon strength with T700 hoop reinforcement to help keep the blank stable under pressure.

The result is a travel rod platform designed to hold its shape through hard coastal work, not a soft, underpowered compromise that only feels good on paper.

±45 Degree Cross Wrap

Full-X-Cross

The entire Legend blank is reinforced with a ±45° symmetrical cross-wrap structure to reduce torsional twist through the cast, retrieve, and hook-up. For land-based saltwater lure fishing, this matters.

When casting into wind, searching water at distance, or working lures tight to structure, the blank tracks cleaner, the line stays more controlled, and the rod is less likely to feel like it is twisting under load.

Smooth Load Transfer

UniFlow Guide System

Guide placement is engineered around how the blank bends under load. By matching guide position and guide count to the stress curve of the rod, the UniFlow Guide System helps distribute pressure more evenly across the blank.

This reduces localised stress points, improves load transfer, and supports long-term blank strength and durability.

π-Joint FERRULE SYSTEM

01 / Power Reserve

Strong Backbone

Legend’s taper has been refined through repeated adjustment to create a responsive tip with strong mid-to-lower blank support.

The rod loads smoothly through the front section, then locks into a more powerful backbone as pressure increases. This gives the angler better control when setting hooks, steering fish away from structure, or applying pressure in rougher coastal conditions.

A specialised friction-enhancing formulation is used around the third-section joint area to improve joint security and reduce the risk of loosening during repeated casts and sustained load.

02 / Signal Transfer

High-Sensitivity Tip

The tip section uses high-modulus carbon with 0° UD Glass reinforcement and a reduced wall thickness design.

This keeps the tip light, crisp, and responsive while maintaining the strength needed for saltwater lure work. Subtle lure movement, line contact, and light bites transmit faster through the blank, giving the angler a cleaner read on what is happening below the surface.

That added sensitivity makes it easier to stay connected to soft plastics, metals, and small stickbaits, especially when working current lines, structure edges, or deeper water where small changes in lure feel matter.

A TRAVEL ROD SHOULD NEVER FISH LIKE A COMPROMISE
